How the typing test works
Type the words shown as quickly and accurately as you can. Your speed is calculated as words per minute, where a "word" is five characters, and accuracy is the share of characters you typed correctly. The clock starts on your first keystroke.
How to type faster
- Use all ten fingers and keep them on the home row (ASDF–JKL;).
- Look at the screen, not the keyboard.
